Glencoe Club Expansion

Description

This project saw the construction of a new addition, and extensive renovations of, Calgary’s iconic members-only Glencoe Club. The project included the construction of a four-level building on the west side of the property. Linked to the original club via hallway, the new building features a 50-stall parkade (levels 1 and 2); 10,000 square feet of developed recreation space that includes two large junior locker rooms, a climbing wall, an indoor playground and a flex “tween” room (level 3); and a 9,000-square-foot extension of the fitness centre. The existing fitness centre and physiotherapy clinic were also renovated along with the outdoor pool area that now boasts a water slide, an outdoor hot tub, a new deck and an extended upper patio. The squash courts were also renewed and the squash viewing lounges also increased in size and became accessible.
