CFMS Alberta Ltd. is pleased to announce that its president, Craig Hatch, has achieved his Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) designation. Awarded by the Building Commissioning Certification Board (BCCB), the certification is recognized world-wide and accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
The new designation verifies Mr. Hatch’s expertise in the commissioning field by an independent organization. It is the first certification that is recognized under the Better Building Workforce Guidelines, giving its possessors a unique competitive advantage. All bearers of the CCP designation are automatically recognized as qualified commissioning providers and are able to deliver their services to federally funded projects.
According to the BCCB, “ Being a CCP means being up to date in the ever-changing world of building commissioning, allowing you and your company to be at the cutting edge of this maturing industry.”
Said Diane Lee, Partner at CFMS-Alberta, “On behalf of all of CFMS-Alberta’s staff, we extend a big congratulations to Craig. As more regulations are released to govern commissioning processes, we are proud to have this certification amongst our team, distinguishing us as a competent and informed commissioning organization.”
