Craig Hatch, C.Tech, CCP, President and General Manager


Craig Hatch is the president and general manager of CFMS Alberta Ltd. and has been providing commissioning services since 2001.

In addition to setting the strategic direction of the company, Craig also oversees the day-to-day operations of CFMS Alberta. Craig takes a very hands-on approach to commissioning and is responsible for: the complete commissioning process of projects, the estimating and submitting of commissioning fees, completing inspections, maintaining client relationships, supervising technical personnel, attending sales and construction meetings, and giving presentations about the commissioning process.

Craig’s technical knowledge is substantive and includes expertise in power distribution, lighting, communications, fire alarms, motors, controls, emergency systems, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sprinkler systems, plumbing, process systems, energy analysis and more. He applies his various skills as needed to best serve the varying needs of CFMS clients and contractors.

In 2016, Craig earned his Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) designation. Awarded by the Building Commissioning Certification Board (BCCB), the certification is recognized world-wide and accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Diane Lee, LEED® AP, Partner


Diane Lee joined CFMS Alberta in 2009 as a project manager bringing with her a multitude of knowledge and experience in property and operations management, development, and construction.

Diane’s commissioning experience ranges from multi-million dollar new industrial and commercial constructions to building re-commissioning projects. She has a thorough understanding of the various levels of commissioning services and the LEED® project requirements for multiple rating systems. Her client service orientation makes her a favorite of our clients, as she expertly assists them in incepting and implementing effective strategies for the overall improved performance of their buildings and provides training for their key personnel.

Diane’s project management experience is a huge asset in delivering tangible and measurable outcomes for our clients, consultants and contractors who readily benefit from her team approach. All parties are regularly engaged throughout the entirety of a project and as a result, enjoy continued and measurable success.

In 2013, Diane was promoted to associate and in 2015, Diane became a partner at CFMS Alberta. Today, she is responsible for production management and assists Craig Hatch with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. She is a vital member of CFMS-Alberta and regularly contributes to the overall success of the organization. As a company, we value her ability to proactively and strategically address multiple levels of complexities for both CFMS and for our clients.




Even though CFMS Alberta shares a service offering with other CFMS locations across Canada, we are an independently operated company whose operations and team are uniquely Western Canadian.
